Kevin & Amy Jordan

Oasis Christian Academy is a ministry of Fearless Church. Kevin and Amy Jordan lead Fearless Church with a commitment to reaching people for Jesus and spiritual growth. Their vision, culture, and leadership guide our school in shaping well-rounded individuals equipped for success in academics and life.

Dr. Don Rattey

Upper School & Asst Principal

Dr. Don Rattey brings more than 21 years of teaching experience to Oasis Christian Academy, including eight years serving in Christian schools using Bible-based curriculum. He holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Rhode Island and brings a depth of knowledge, perspective, and classroom experience to OCA's upper school program.

In addition to teaching, Dr. Rattey is an experienced coach who loves athletics and helping students grow through teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. He is passionate about helping students think critically, grow academically, develop strong character, and understand history through a biblical worldview.

Fran Hopkins

Elementary Teacher

Fran Hopkins brings extensive experience in elementary education, student support, and Christian schooling to Oasis Christian Academy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida and has held professional certifications in Elementary Education K–6, Exceptional Student Education K–12, and an ESOL endorsement. She has also earned an Educator Certificate through the Association of Christian Schools International and a Pathfinder Certificate in Christian Studies from inCharacter School of Ministry.

Fran has taught in public schools, private Christian schools, homeschool settings, and specialized tutoring programs across grades K–8. She is especially passionate about helping students close learning gaps, build confidence, and experience academic success. Fran is excited to use OCA's individualized mastery-based approach to help each student grow academically and spiritually.

Steve Hopkins

Music & Electives Teacher

Steve Hopkins serves as OCA's Music and Electives Teacher, bringing extensive experience in music education, Christian ministry, and student development. He holds an Associate of Arts in Music, studied music education and performance at Florida State University, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and completed a three-year Certificate in Christian Studies.

A classically trained pianist with experience in songwriting, worship ministry, vocals, and keyboard performance, Steve has also spent four years teaching music, Bible, and piano in a private Christian school. He is passionate about helping students discover their God-given talents, develop practical skills, grow in confidence, and build a lasting foundation in God's Word.

Pam Cataloni

Kindergarten–First Grade Teacher

Pam Cataloni brings more than six years of experience in Christian education, with specific experience in early childhood education, kindergarten, and first grade. Her background includes curriculum implementation, lesson planning, student progress monitoring, Bible instruction, and support for students with a variety of academic, behavioral, cognitive, and developmental needs.

Pam holds an associate degree in business and is a registered medical assistant, with additional HHA and CNA certifications. She is CPR and AED certified and has served as a Girl Scouts troop leader since 2018.

Pam is passionate about creating a safe, engaging classroom where young students can grow academically, spiritually, and personally.

Pastor Amy Jordan

Business Admin & Enrollment

Pastor Amy is a graduate of Liberty University and holds a Bachelor's in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis on Theology and Music. She has extensive experience working in Youth & Kids Ministry, Christian school education, as well as executive business. She has 20+ years of speaking, leadership, and teaching experience.

OCA teachers meet at least 2 of the following Florida state requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in a public or private school
  • Special skills, knowledge, or expertise in a specific subject area
