There are many excellent schools. There are many excellent Christian schools. Rather than asking how we help every student fit the system, we ask how we build a system that helps every student grow.
No two children learn alike, so we don't teach them all the same way. Students work through an individualized, mastery-based program built around their own level in each subject — not their age or grade. They demonstrate real mastery before moving on: extra support when they need more time, room to advance when they're ready to move faster.
OCA provides Christian education through a nontraditional classroom model that allows each student to learn at the level and pace appropriate for them. We use the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum as our core learning, which allows students to work through each subject at an appropriate individual pace. Teachers supplement the core work with group discussions and activities.
A student may be:
Students are placed according to their demonstrated academic level in each subject — not only according to their age or assigned grade.
Students must demonstrate at least 80% scores before moving forward. This prevents students from falling behind over time.
Students who understand a concept quickly may continue advancing. Students who need more time receive instruction and learning support before progressing.

OCA offers a full-time Christian education through a four-day on-campus schedule. Students attend Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, receiving focused academic instruction, individualized support, and opportunities for spiritual and personal growth.
Friday is our Parent-Guided Academic Day. Students complete assigned work at home to reinforce the week's learning while developing independence, time management, and personal responsibility.
Our four-day model gives families more flexibility for appointments, travel, extracurricular activities, family time, and rest—without sacrificing academic quality or instructional support.
We don't ask "how do we make every student keep up with the class?" We ask "what does this student need to grow?"

Students learn on campus Monday through Thursday. Friday is our Parent Guided Academic Day — not a day off, but an intentional extension of the week's instruction, done at home. This teaches time management, goal setting, and accountability. Students' Friday work is graded on Mondays and counts as their Friday attendance.
Working parents who need a 5-day schedule may enroll in Friday Enrichment Day upon request.
Parents aren't expected to teach — they walk alongside their child, encouraging progress and building responsibility alongside teacher-planned assignments.
